MATH RESOURCE CENTER: Students can get help with math any period of the day in Room B201. There is a teacher there every period to help with math. Tell your student to drop in during his/her study hall or lunch. Talk to your math teacher if you are interested in being a tutor for this year.
December Concerts: Please attend some of the concerts being given by Larkin students this month. Choral Concert: Tues., Dec. 9, @ 7:30 pm. Orchestra Concert: Thurs., Dec. 11, @ 7:30 pm. Band Concert: Thurs., Dec. 18, @ 7:30 pm.
HOLIDAY RECESS: Holiday Recess begins at 2:55 pm Friday, December 19, 2008. Classes resume at 7:40 am on Monday, January 5, 2009.

Math Team: Our next NSML meet is at Larkin on Wednesday, January 28. Meet in room B201 by 5:30 pm.
Our fourth ILML contest will be on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7 am, in Room A20. Come and help us defend our 2008-9 regional title.

Mu Alpha Theta:The Larkin High School chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, the National Mathematics Honor Society, meets on the second regular attendance Monday of each month. Our next meeting is Monday, January 26, at 7:00 am in Room B201. All interested in joining or just attending are welcome!
