  4. SAT I or SAT II on Nov 7th: Registration deadline: October 1st
  5. See Mr. Carter about any college representatives
  6. Finalize the list of colleges.
  7. Fill-out "Activities Record" for staff to write letters of recommendation
  8. Make sure to identify all "Community Service"

10/31/2009 12th Coca-Cola Scholar: for Seniors only. Information is available online only at www.coca-colascholars.org Awards are based on academic achievement, capacity to lead, and hours dedicated to community service. Deadline 10/31/2009.
12th Hispanic Scholarship Fund: Seniors; of Hispanic heritage (most programs), have a min. of 3.0 GPA. Visit http://www.hsf.net/Scholarships.aspx?id=72 for scholarship program information.
11/1/2009 9th - 12th Voice of Democracy Scholarships: are available for students grades 9-12. Applicants must record a 3-5 minute speech on the theme: "Does America Still have Heroes? Students may visit www.vfw.org for further details. The deadline is 11/1/2009

11/2/2009 9th - 12th Prudential Spirit of Community Award:All students who have taken part in community service activities over the past year to fill out an online application form at http://spirit.prudential.com . Once the form has been completed online, printed out, signed please return to the Guidance office by November 2, 2009
12/19/2009 12th Black Women's Association Scholarship: Seniors of African-American descent; Based on community involvement, extra-curricular activities, letters of recommendation, and essay. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above and a clear judicial record. Deadline is 12/19/2009
02/05/10 12th Paramount Tall Club Scholarship: Seniors; who meet height requirements of 5'10" for females and 6'2" for males. Awards are based on grades and uniqueness of essay. 12/19/2009 12th The Black Women’s Association Northwest Suburban Chapter Scholarship Application 2009 The Black Women’s Association Northwest Suburban Chapter (BWA) Scholarship is awarded annually to an African American Student within the boundaries of School District U46 including Private and Parochial schools who has demonstrated a strong commitment to scholastic ability and achievement, creativity (scholastic or artistic), peer relationships, integrity, community involvement in the areas of volunteerism and leadership potential, and will be attending an accredited College or University.
