Gold Star Student

I feel very strongly that this time our star student is our entire class.  We have been discussing the time during slavery and the civil rights of the 50's and 60's. We are busy watching films such as Our Friend Martin and Selma Lord Selma.  I was so pleased to see the passion in all the kids.  They had a lot to say after the film.  They were all very moved by Martin Luther King Jr. and the children that lived through the cilivil rights era.  I am very proud to say that we have had some wonderful discussions and that they all deserve the Gold Star Student award.
