Purpose of the Channing PTO:

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the welfare of Channing Memorial Elementary School and the students therein, to bring into closer relation the parents and the school and to support the activities and programs of the school through financial and /or voluntary support.  

Family Night

Thursday November 19th 6-7pm

Colonial Cares night

Watch for more Colonial Cares Nights coming up.  Colonial Cafe is located in  Elgin at 600 S. Mclean Blvd, near ECC.  Up to 20% of the night’s proceeds will go to our school, based on overall sales. All you have to do is drop your receipt in the bucket at the register marked Channing Elementary.  This is a great opportunity to socialize with other Channing parents, so make sure to come out and support your school.  You can also pass this information along to your friends and family.  All receipts that are dropped in the bucket that night count towards our total!  The more people that participate, the greater profit for Channing!

Market Day 

The PTO is pleased to annouce Market Day at Channing Elementary. You can order your Market Day items on-line.  It is very easy and very quick.  Just visit www.marketday.com and place your order.

All meetings are held in the school library at 6:30 pm.  Childcare is provided in our gym during the meeting.  All meetings are conducted in English and Spanish. Se habla espanol.
