Battle of the Books

Rational:
The Battle of the Books is an extra-curricular activity for students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. Its purpose is to encourage quality reading. It involves a team of students who read from a list of books chosen by librarians from Bartlett Public Library, Gail Borden Public Library, and Poplar Creek Public Library. Teams meet at the libraries for ‘battles’ and are asked questions about the books. Points are given for each correct answer. At the end of the BOB season, the school with the highest number of points is recognized and all teams are invited participate in a BOB party hosted by the public libraries.

Update:
Way to Go! Battle of the Books team received 400 points for the last Competition!!
