Dear Parents,

Our students have worked very hard this year and we are very proud of what they have achieved.  We were very pleased this spring to honor our students at our school-wide recognition assemblies for their academic and activity accomplishments.

All of our traditions throughout the year contribute to making Hawk Hollow a great school, but the most important part of the equation is the school community itself.  The children who attend here, the staff who spend their days here, the parents, and the community are all a part of our success.  Together we represent the last and best frontier in our collaborative efforts to advocate and improve the lives of children.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s life.

Thank you to all of our sixth graders and their families for being a part of this exciting year.  We wish you the best of luck at middle school and hope that you’ll stay in touch.  We also would like to wish a safe journey to the families who are moving out of our attendance area.   Thank you for being a part of our Hawk Hollow school community.

Lastly, it is an honor for me as an educator to serve as the principal of Hawk Hollow School and most importantly, to be a part of your child’s life.   I am looking forward to next year and all of the exciting opportunities it will present for our school community.  The 2010-11 school year is going to be great!
