The Elgin High School Parent Teacher Organization will host its monthly

Parents and Guardians: First quarter report cards will be mailed home during the week of November 2nd. Also, Parent/Teacher conferences will held on the evening of Monday, November 23rd and during the day on Tuesday, November 24th. Times vary so please call your students' teachers to schedule appointments. School is closed for classes the week of November 23rd for teacher institute, parent/teacher conferences, and for the Thanksgiving holiday. Do not hesitate to contact the main office should you have any questions at 847-888-5100 X5101.

 

 

Connect Ed to all students regarding PTO Meeting and Retake Day for Underclassmen

The Elgin High School Parent Teacher Organization will host its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 20th beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the EHS Library. All parents are invited. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to win a $25.00 gift certificate from Moretti's Restaurant. If you have any questions, direct them to the main office at 847-888-5100 X4832. See you there!
 
Retake Day for Underclassmen will be this Wednesday, October 21st. If you are returning your pictures, they will need to be returned on Wednesday. If you would like to order a photo package, you will need to bring your picture packet along with your payment. 
 
Pictures will be taken in Room 244 during your lunch or studyhall. Packets are available in the main office.

 

 Connect Ed to Seniors - Senior Portraits    October 5th, 2009

This is a message is to our class of 2010 from Elgin High School:
 
Senior Portraits will be taken from October 13th thru October 23rd at Elgin High School.
You may pick up a pamphlet and make an appointment in the main office. Appointment times are from 1:00 – 7:30 p.m. Pictures will be taken by Root Studios   (www.rootstudios.com).
 
You have the option to purchase a packet or take a picture for the yearbook at no cost.

Connect Ed to Sophomores and Juniors - September 9th and 15th

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test registration begins September 14th through September 18th, 2009. This is a test for sophomores and juniors only. This is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation's scholarship programs. The test will be held at Elgin High School on October 14th, 2009. You must pre-register before September 18th. The cost is $15.00.

 
If your student is a sophomore and needs financial assistance to sign up for the test, have them see Mrs. Matei or Mr. Smiley.
