There are many positions still open. We are in need of volunteers and would greatly appreciate your help!
Who Are We?
T.O.T.S. is an organization for parent's and teachers who's children attend Independence preschool. We meet and share ideas and concerns, plan family activities, and organize fundraisers. All fundraising money helps provide special programs along with addtional supplies and equipment for our preschool.
Meetings
Meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. All meetings atart at 6:30 p.m. at Independence preschool. Childcare is provided during T.O.T.S meetings. If a date/time change or meeting cancelation should occur, a memo will be sent home with the new information.
Programs Funded By T.O.T.S.
1. Teacher stipends -- We offer eacher teacher a $100 allowance.
2. Two Family Reading Nights -- Evenings of storytelling or entertainment.
3. Monthly Reading Logs -- When your child completes ten reading activities in a month, we provide your child with a free book.
4. Scholastic Book Fairs -- Twice a year we host book fairs to promote reading at home.
5. Fundraisers -- Fall and Spring fundraisers help support all of our programs.
6. Teacher Appreciation Luncheon -- Potluck lunch for our teachers and staff.
