Our students continue to make progress and teachers creatively find ways to differentiate instruction.
Now that we completed the data analysis and correlation among our MAP and ISAT scores, the entire staff is joining efforts to provide students with additional supports in order to maximize our annual academic achievement.
To accomplish our goal, the teachers are going through additional professional development to improve writing among our students. We will engage in deeper conversations about reading / science integration and writing within content.
In few more weeks we will start the after school program which will include a literacy, math, art integration and technology components. We will send home a flyer. The funding provided to implement this initiative target students who need to refresh their academic skills; however, we will accept additional students if we have available seats.
There is a possibility that we will be able to offer chess as a tuition-based offering.

Our efforts need to be complemented by parental participation in the family nights that are being planned for this year. Please check the website calendar and your child’s agenda for specific dates.
