The Cover

To choose this year’s cover, the yearbook staff narrowed down our many choices (available from the Jostens company) to six finalists.  A color poster was displayed in the cafeteria and all the students had a chance to vote during their lunch periods.  The Yearbook staff counted hundreds of ballots and found the winner to be . . .  

“Doodles!”

The Theme

This year’s theme was selected from a list of, literally, thousands.  The yearbook staff did a great job choosing nominees, semi-finalists and finalists.  After several weeks and several rounds of voting, they chose our theme!

“Written in the Stars”

 

Ms. Pfohl and Ms. Boes are very excited about the many ways we included the theme through the layout, graphics, artwork and poetry.   

 

Student Artwork and Poetry

Thank you to the many students who submitted poetry or artwork to the yearbook.  To find out which students, whose work represented our theme, and/or Larsen Life, had their work chosen, listen to morning announcements at school or check it out outside the art room.  Those talented students will each receive a $5.00 gift certificate to …

Don't Miss Out On The Memories! 
In past years, the yearbook price was lower for pre-orders and would go up in May.  In consideration of these tough financial times, we will be selling all 2008-09 Larsen Yearbooks at the pre-order price of $24.00, . 
 
Books can be purchased from Ms. Boes or Ms. Pfohl, and payment arrangements can also be made. 
Normally, yearbooks are distributed on the last full day of school. At that time, any remaining yearbooks will be sold until supplies run out, but we SOLD OUT last year, so get yours soon!

Sales Information
Did you know that yearbooks are available to pre-order throughout the entire school year? The books can be purchased for $24.00 from Mrs. Boes in room 206 or Ms. Pfohl in room 105. It is also possible to make payment arrangements through one of the two teachers. Last year we sold out of yearbooks, so get one sooner than later! 
 
Remember, a pre-paid book is a guaranteed book.
 
Libro del Año 
 
Sabías que los libros del año pueden ser pre-ordenados durante todo el año escolar? Los libros pueden comprarse por $24 en el salón 206 con Mrs. Boes o en el salón 105 con Ms. Pfohl .  También es posible hacer arreglos de pagos con cualquiera de las dos maestras.  El año pasado vendimos todos los libros y hasta nos hicieron falta así que más vale comprarlo pronto. 
 
Recuerda que un libro pre-pagado es un libro garantizado.
