One project the students took on this year was to create review sheets for each of the non-honors math classes. We hope to have many of them as student tutors in the Math Resource Center next year.

Chi Alpha Mu, standing for Creative Adventures in Mathematics, is an organization whose purpose is to encourage an interest in mathematics by providing stimulating mathematical activities and public recognition of superior mathematical scholarship for Junior High and Middle School students.  It is hoped the club will provide students with a greater understanding and enjoyment of mathematics and will keep them more involved in  mathematics once they enter high school.   The organization  was incorporated in 1967 and had a number of active chapters through 2001.  Mu Alpha Theta, the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society, took over the administration of the organization in the fall of 2008.
