Wayne School Annual Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for the evening of April 7^th at 6:00 pm in the gym. Please park in the east parking lot (entrance off Powis Road). Orientation is an opportunity for kindergarten teachers, office staff, and representatives of various special services of District U-46 to inform parents about the kindergarten program at Wayne School. Please note that this meeting is for parents only. A student orientation will be held prior to the first day of school. At that time, prospective kindergartners will meet the kindergarten teachers. A child is eligible for kindergarten attendance if his or her fifth birthday falls on or before September 1^st. If you have an incoming kindergartner or know of families who will be new to Wayne School and will have a kindergartner, please make sure and attend this important meeting. Please bring a copy of your childs birth certificate, immunizations, and 2 proof of residency. Be prepared to fill out an emergency sheet with contact numbers.
