Technology Goals & SMART Boards
Our goals for technology at Abbot Middle School are:
1. To lay a foundation for our students to be competitive in an increasingly global, technological, knowledge-based economy.
2. Provide our students with the tools necessary to become competent 21st Century learners.
3. Provide opportunities for teachers to become more student-centered by using differentiated instruction to better meet the needs of students with multiple learning styles.
4. To implement SMART Boards into the curriculum in every classroom to enhance lesson activities and actively engage our students in the learning process.
Through the acquisition and utilization of 21st Century technology, our students will learn to gather and access information, collaborate, innovate, think critically and solve problems.
