Senior Scholarship Opportunity--Riceland Rice Scholarship Program.  You must complete an essay of 150 - 250 words on the given topic:  "What will my college degree say about me?"  Entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form which may be downloaded at www.mahatmarice.com/scholarship.

The Junior class would like to announce thanks to everyone for their contributions to the dress like a turkey contest.  The teacher that got the most money in their jar and who will be dressing like a turkey today is Ms. Hanrahan.  If you would like to see what she looks like, go towards the English wing. – Ms. Kleiman (11/20)
 
Come support our pom team at the first Annual U46 Pom dance-off! It will be held this Saturday at Bartlett High School from 11 until 1. Admission is $5.00 or $4.00 with a canned food item. Come watch us dance our way to victory! – Athletic Office (11/20)
 
Any senior who wants to help choose the theme for prom must attend the senior class council meeting on Wednesday, December 2nd. We will also be discussing the Mr. Sabre competition, senior dinner cruise and senior class picnic so we need your help and input to make these events great! Congratulations to all the girls' Basketball teams as they swept Dundee- Crown on Wednesday in their season opener. The varsity defeated Dundee-Crown 62-44. The Sabres were led by Emma Schmidt with 21pts, and Michelle Tomczak with 18pts and 15 rebounds. Way to go girls!! – Coach Rosner (11/20)
 
Congratulations to the Boys' Bowling Team on a very successful opening week. They went undefeated in their 3 meets; defeating Elgin and Fenton and splitting with South Elgin.  The Sabres were led by high games from Junior Steven Welch who bowled a 279, 268, and a 267 during this week's meets. Come out and support the boys when they take on State Champs Lake Park on Tuesday. – Coach Maurice (11/20)

The Taming of the Shrew is here. The Shakespearean comedy, which stars such notables as Joey Morgan, Eric Younglove, Angie Kurtz, Nate Korpics and Samantha Miller will be presented this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 pm in the auditorium. (11/18)
 
Multi-Cultural Club would like to thank all the performers who came to our talent show auditions last night.  Now the list of the call backs is available in the guidance office. The 2nd tryouts will be held on December 9th. Those who are invited to the 2nd round, make sure to come prepared!!! Lewis University is holding an Aviation Career Conference on Saturday, November 21, 2009, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  at Romeoville Campus, Harold E. White Aviation Center.
