Pet Food Drive

Mrs. White and her husband, Greg, and some of the 10 Boys, went on a trip to Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin to drop off 8 boxes of donated items from Washington families.  Overall, 166 bags of food, toys, and treats were collected for the cats and dogs at the shelter.  Congratulations to Mrs. Verchota's 3rd Grade and Mrs. Hardt's 6th Grade classes for winning the ice cream party.  Each class donated 33 items.  We would like to thank all of you that participated in donating to such a good cause, it will truly help these animals.
