Here is how you can get involved!
Three for Me – A New Phrase for Volunteering’s/children’s school. One or more than one family member would volunteer for a total of 3 hours over the course of the entire school year. Volunteering can be done at home, at school or a combination of both.’s school. Help us make Hillcrest a great school for every student.
As always, we need parents to volunteer to keep our programs successful for all students. The program Three For Me suggests families would commit 3 hours to their child
Some opportunities for volunteering at home include:
*counting Box Tops for Education
*cutting out lamination
*making phone calls
*general baking
*shopping for supplies for an event
Some opportunities for volunteering at school include:
*assisting primary grade teachers with centers in the classroom
*listening to students read
*working the PAWS store
*working at the Book Fair
*aiding students to and from classrooms for picture day, dental/visual screenings
*creating/displaying a bulletin board
*helping sort boxes for Market Day
If you have never volunteered before or time is a problem, set a goal to volunteer 1 hour this school year for your child!
Look for the Three for Me form when registering your children at Hillcrest.
