Library Notes from Mrs. Jones

Students received a library orientation in September and will continue to visit the library every month with their reading or English class. The library is also open during the school day for check-out when lessons are not being presented. Students may also come to the library ten minutes before school and fifteen minutes after school and between passing periods.

Help! We need parent volunteers in the library. If you are interested please contact Mrs. Jones.

Parent-Teacher Conference evening. There will be coffee and desserts available in the library on Nov. 23 from 5- 8 PM.

 Author Visit

Award-winning author Terry Trueman will speak to 8th graders at Eastview in March 2010.  Parents are welcome to join us. Eighth graders read his realistic fiction book, Stuck in Neutral, a Printz award winner for their "One Grade, One Book" selection this year. Be watching for more information as we get closer to the date.
