Computer Lab Sign-Up Procedure

This schedule was created so that everyone at all times can see which computer rooms are available for use at any given time of the day.

1.  Click on the “O” drive (this is the faculty share drive)

2.  Click on  the folder “1Acomputerlab sign-up”  (this should be the very first folder).

3.  An excel spreadsheet should open up.

4.  Make sure the tab on the bottom of the spreadsheet that is open is on the WEEK you want to schedule.

5.  On the left of the spreadsheet are the lab room numbers.

6.  Each color section is for a different room number/each row in that color is a different day the week.

7.  Each column reflects a different period of the day.

8.  NOTICE:  rooms 100, 104 have people already scheduled…these are classes scheduled to be taught in those rooms everyday.

9. To schedule time, just type in your name & dept/activity. i.e.  Hilly Curda/math/slope
           (Please keep it short)

10.  Please do NOT reserve the room for more then 2 consecutive days.

11.  Please fill out a seating chart every time you have a class in the lab. (seating charts will be on the  share drive in the near future)  For right now please fill one out on paper and place it in  my mailbox.. Make sure you also fill in the room number, period you were there plus your name.

12.  At the end of each day, a copy of the spreadsheet will be saved both electronically and hard copy.

13.  At the end of a week (Friday afternoon) that week will be deleted and another week will be added to the schedule thus there will always be 3 full weeks visible for scheduling.

 14.  Keys for the computer rooms (if not part of your department) can be obtained one of two ways: the divisional of that department near the computer lab or in the main office.  Keys must be returned ASAP to insure that others will be able to make use of them.

15.  If you have any problems with scheduling, please contact Hilly Curda (8140) or via e-mail.
