Larkin High School Cheerleading Clinic


Come join the Varsity Cheer Squad at Larkin High School on February 20th, from 1:00-6:00 p.m.  1st through 8th grade girls and boys are invited to have fun and be an LHS Cheerleader for the day.  Students will spend the day at LHS learning fun, new cheers, playing games with the Varsity Cheerleaders while being taugh cheer techniques, jumps and stunts safely.  We will perform for friends and family promptly at 6:00 p.m.  The cost is $40 and includes a Cheerleading t-shirt, a snack and a  pizza party!  Please make checks out to Larkin High School. To get the sign-up sheet, please contact Mary Esdorn at 847/888-5200, ext. 8404.  Payment and form are due by February 5th.

2/10/2010 Parent Night: School Refusal and School Anxiety Our next Parent Night will be held Wednesday February 10 at 6-7pm in the Larkin Auditorium. The topic of the presentation is School Refusal and School Anxiety. Two therapists from Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital will be here to educate us about the reasons why some students refuse to come to school and what we can do to help them. Child care is not available. Spanish interpretation will be available. Thank you.
2/10/2010 Noche de los Padres: El enfoque es El Rechazo y Ansiedad Escolar Nuestra próxima Noche de los Padres estará miércoles, el décimo de febrero a las seis hasta siete en la noche en el auditorio de Larkin. El enfoque es El Rechazo y Ansiedad Escolar, presentado por Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. Dos consejeras van a discutir las razones del rechazo y ansiedad y como podemos ayudarles. No tendremos el cuidado para los niños. Se habla español. Gracias.
