* Book Fair
- A sign up sheet was passed around for volunteers.
- Begins December 1, 2009
- December Fair is the one we make a profit on.

- Speak to Pat Billings if you are interested in helping/volunteering. You can leave her a note in the office.
- Scholastic "One For Books" program will be done again this year.
- Money is collected and is added to the total of the profit from the book fair.
- We can then get the same amount in free books for Channing. Scholastic donates a book for each dollar we make to 3 different children's charities.

- We usually have part of the Book Fair for Family Nights, but this year Family Night is not planned around the time we will have the Book Fair.
- December is the only time we could get more Spanish books to sell at the Book Fair.

- A motion was made by A. Moeller to research the price of water coolers.
The motion was seconded by B. Peterson.
- Eric Paulson was volunteered to research the water cooler prices.
* Misc.
- Since the district has cut on money for supplies for teachers, parents can go to Office max or Office Depot and can receive coupons for teachers to use to purchase supplies. They can be sent to your child's teacher.
- Concerns about homework and how it is being distributed to the teacher.
- Bussing is a concern by the school. Too many messages are coming to the office and sometimes teachers cannot check email because they are giving instruction. Parents need to be consistent with transportation. You need to let the bus drivers know if your child is not riding the bus if you pick them up from school that day.
