Welcome to Wayne Elementary School, located in the Village of Wayne. The population of the town is 1,907. It is located forty miles west of Chicago. Wayne School is adjacent to the Village of Wayne's historic district dating back to the 1830's.

Wayne school presently serves students from Bartlett, Elgin, Wayne, St. Charles, and West Chicago. Our student body consists of 631 students in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.

The school community has high expectations for the children and school. There is strong parental and community support as evidenced by over 300 volunteers who have contributed their time and efforts to the many school functions and activities conducted at Wayne School.
